Partner Cliff Risman was quoted in a Law360 article, “Hospitality Cases And Trends To Watch In 2020,” about some of the issues lawyers in the hospitality industry are following.
Risman, co-chair of the firm’s Hospitality & Leisure Industry Team, said he expects labor and employment issues to dominate the industry in 2020, just as they did in 2019. “Nationally, the big picture to keep an eye on is labor and employment,” he said. “Everybody’s watching federal regulations as immigration increases or decreases and has an effect on the hospitality industry’s ability to find employees.”
