Lisa Noller Profiled in “Litigation Leaders” Q&A Series
Foley & Lardner LLP partner and chair of the firm’s national litigation department Lisa Noller was featured in Am Law Litigation Daily’s “Litigation Leaders” Q&A series, which highlights litigation practice leaders at some of the biggest and most innovative law firms in the country.
In the Q&A, “Foley & Lardner’s Lisa Noller Says When Women Lead, Everyone Benefits,” Noller discussed her career, the value of female leadership, and an overview of the hallmarks of Foley’s litigation department and its recent major wins.
Noller noted the firm’s strong bench of experienced litigators, in particular across the key sectors of energy, health care, and manufacturing. She placed emphasis on the firm’s capabilities in litigation matters regarding the False Claims Act, Sherman Act, commercial and criminal disputes, the manufacturing supply chain, and both traditional and alternative energy.
When asked what sets Foley’s litigation department apart, Noller said, “A Foley & Lardner litigator knows her client well and has a trusted relationship earned through listening and teamwork. She can summarize facts in a succinct manner, ably apply the law, and explain what matters to the factfinder, in an easily digestible format. We speak ‘jury’ as a second language.”
“I’m proud to have been asked to lead Foley’s litigation department,” Noller added. “I hope to inspire all women, especially those who are tasked with other full-time jobs like caring for family. When we believe in ourselves and sponsor other women, we are unstoppable.”
