Foley & Lardner LLP acted as international legal counsel to True North, an India-based private equity firm, in its investment of $75 million for a minority stake in iLink Digital, a leading provider of digital transformation solutions.
The investment has been facilitated through True North’s Fund VI, marking its third investment in the technology services sector.
Founded in 2002, iLink Digital is a digital transformation service company that aids organizations in utilizing technology to enhance commercial outcomes. The company plans to leverage the investment to advance its mergers and acquisitions strategy, focusing on increasing its deep domain knowledge and technology expertise. A portion of the investment proceeds will also be allocated to initiatives aimed at furthering its employees and client base.
The Foley team representing True North was led by partner Natasha Allen and included partners Diane Hazel, Jason Kohout, Zhu Julie Lee, Leigh Riley, and Christopher Swift, and associates Talita Duarte and Wesley Choi.
