Scott Ellis Named Outstanding Diversity Champion by Houston Business Journal
Foley & Lardner LLP partner Scott Ellis is recognized by the Houston Business Journal as an Outstanding Diversity Champion as part of the publication’s 2024 Diversity in Business Awards.
Outstanding Diversity Champions are recognized for their demonstrated initiative in promoting diversity and inclusion within their communities and organizations.
Ellis, who is managing partner of Foley’s Houston office and vice-chair of the firm’s national Energy Litigation Practice, deeply engaged with diversity and inclusion efforts within the legal community. He has served as a member and co-chair of the Houston Bar Association’s DEI Committee, as well as a member of the HBA’s Implicit Bias Task Force. In recognition of his efforts, he was named a recipient of a 2023 HBA Diversity Award. Ellis also serves as a Commissioner of the America Bar Association’s Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession.
Honorees will be recognized at the Houston Business Journal’s Diversity in Business Awards on March 28, 2024, in Houston.
