Getting the Most Out of a USPTO Examiner Interview: Interview Best Practices and Tips

On Monday, September 23, Foley Partner Courtenay Brinckerhoff will speak on the panel “Getting the Most Out of a USPTO Examiner Interview: Interview Best Practices and Tips” at the 2024 Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) Annual Meeting, which will take place September 22-24 in Chicago. During the session, panelists will provide tips and best practices for when, how, and what are the best interview strategies when conducting examiner interviews during prosecution in front of the USPTO. Additionally, panelists will discuss what makes for a good interview and how to be helpful in advancing prosection.

Courtenay will speak alongside Derrick Ferris of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and other practitioners with a robust interview practice.
