Natasha Allen and Jeffery Atkin Named California Legal Awards Honorees
Foley & Lardner LLP partners Natasha Allen and Jeffery Atkin are named 2024 California Legal Awards honorees by The Recorder and Law.com.
The California Legal Awards celebrate the achievements of lawyers and companies leading technology, innovation, and the profession as a whole.
Allen, recently named a Top AI Lawyer by the Daily Journal, won in the Women Leaders in Tech Law (Corporate/Transactions) category. She is a strategic advisor, supporting companies in all stages of growth in complex decision making across a broad range of corporate matters. Allen serves as co-chair of the firm’s Artificial Intelligence area of focus within Foley’s Innovative Technology Sector. “Technology is ever changing and with that change presents opportunities, be flexible,” Allen said in her honoree Q&A with The Recorder when asked what advice she would give to women starting out in tech law.
Atkin, co-chair of Foley’s Energy Sector and a member of the firm’s management committee, won in the Distinguished Leader category. Atkin, among the early pioneers in renewable energy and infrastructure with over 20 years of experience in the space, is highly regarded for his deep industry connections and work with developers, sponsors, lenders, investors, equipment suppliers, and utilities. In his honoree Q&A with The Recorder, Atkin said of his leadership style, “I subscribe to an abundance mentality, and my leadership approach has been to identify opportunities and provide a path to achieve success for as many as possible, rather than using a leadership position to hoard opportunities personally.”
Honorees will be recognized at the California Legal Awards ceremony on October 15, 2024, in Los Angeles.
