Alex Witz is a litigation associate in the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He has worked on a range of subjects, including contract and property disputes, employment law questions, trusts and estates matters, and civil procedure issues. Alex strives to deliver well-researched and logically sound work that is clear and concise.

Prior to joining Foley, Alex served as a judicial intern for a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. He also interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Legislative Council, and the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. Alex was a summer associate at Foley as well.

Alex is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and former active-duty U.S. Army Captain. As a field artillery officer, he completed assignments in Oklahoma, Washington, Texas, and the Republic of Korea; in South Korea, he served as the aide-de-camp to the division deputy commanding general. These unique experiences inform a distinct approach to providing high-quality legal service.
