- Comply with legal and contractual requirements to notify affected individuals, regulators, law enforcement, and other governmental agencies
- Identify potential insurance coverage for costs related to the privacy breach and pursue recovery from insurers for those costs
- Communicate with affected individuals regarding the provision of identity theft monitoring services and other resolutions to the incident
- Work with law enforcement regarding investigations relating to the breach
- Assist with settling disputes and resolving litigation that may arise from the breach
