Foley’s Work to Return Bruce’s Beach to Rightful Heirs Highlighted in the Press

Foley & Lardner LLP’s work on behalf of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to return Bruce’s Beach to the heirs of the Bruce family was highlighted in legal and regional press outlets. A County resident petitioned for a writ of mandate to block the transfer of the property but McLain and the team, serving as the County’s lead counsel, successfully argued that returning the property to the Bruce family is not an improper gift in violation of the California Constitution and the Los Angeles County Superior Court denied the resident’s petition.
