Partner Pamela Johnston and Associate Daniella Gutierrez were recently quoted in the Daily Journal about their efforts to secure a pro bono clients release from California State Prison. It was a stunning legal victory in light of the fact that he had been serving a sentence of life without the possibility of parole for more than 15 years. A November 27 article for The American Lawyer titled “Big Law Pro Bono Efforts Lead to Thanksgiving Exonerations and Releases” also detailed the win and Foley’s efforts.
Finally, the victory was also highlighted in Bloomberg Law’s popular “Wake Up Call” column on November 1, which can be found here.
