Foley recently represented Louisiana Children’s Medical Center (LCMC) and Touro Infirmary (Touro) in the negotiation of a comprehensive hospital management and affiliation agreement with the Parish Hospital Service District for the Parish of Orleans. Foley worked with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in coordinating the completion of the agreement. LCMC and Touro have agreed to employ virtually all hospital employees and provide comprehensive management services and information technology for the 80-bed New Orleans East Hospital, which is currently under construction in eastern New Orleans. The hospital is expected to be operational in summer 2014.
The Foley team consisted of Mark Waxman and Richard Rifenbark.
