Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP is proud to announce the election of Steven Lockhart, Peter Loh, Samantha Trahan and Jeremy Williams as partners in the Firm, effective April 1, 2010.

Steven Lockhart is a partner in Gardere’s Trial section. He represents a variety of clients in complex commercial and tort litigation arising from banking, corporate, construction, franchise, intellectual property and real estate disputes. His practice focuses on the representation of banks and other financial institutions. Mr. Lockhart practices in the Firm’s Dallas office.
Peter Loh is a partner in Gardere’s Trial section. His practice is focused on complex commercial litigation representing corporations and other businesses principally in the areas of intellectual property (cybersquatting, copyright and trademark), computer technology disputes, trade secret misappropriation, products liability and class actions. Mr. Loh has represented both defendants and plaintiffs in state and federal courts in and outside of Texas. Mr. Loh practices in the Firm’s Dallas office.
Samantha Trahan is a partner in Gardere’s Trial section. She handles all aspects of insurance coverage matters, including pre-loss policy review, preparation of coverage opinions and litigation over disputed claims. Her litigation practice also involves music copyright infringement claims and contractual disputes. Beyond litigation, Ms. Trahan counsels clients on a variety of business matters such as corporate due diligence projects for mergers and acquisitions, locating historical insurance policies and reviewing overall contracting practices for unsuspected business risks. Ms. Trahan practices in the Firm’s Houston office.
Jeremy Williams is a partner in Gardere’s Trial section. He represents clients in complex tort and commercial litigation arising from corporate transactions, technology, insurance coverage and reinsurance disputes, commercial mortgage-backed securities claims, toxic torts and personal injury claims. His practice includes the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants, with particular emphasis on finding solutions that support his clients’ business goals. Mr. Williams practices in the Firm’s Dallas office.
