Serwin Quoted on Global Data Privacy and Security

Foley Partner Andrew Serwin was quoted in an article titled “Think Local and Global, Too” in the January 1, 2010 issue of Security. Serwin discusses global data privacy and security, stating that different cultures have different expectations of privacy even if company policies are consistent. He adds that as data becomes increasingly regulated, it is creating new exposures, particularly in the areas of data privacy and reputation risk.
