And just like that, the first week of our 2021 Summer Program has come to an end.
This year’s week one introduction to the firm was packed with eleven pragmatic training sessions presented by a host of attorneys and an external consultant. To name a few, Jay Rothman, CEO and Chairman, and Stan Jaspan, Managing Partner, welcomed our summer associates on their second day and presented on the State of the Firm. Our Practice Solutions Research & Library department delivered trainings on a variety of systems like Lexis and Westlaw to make sure our associates were well equipped with resources for oncoming work projects. Kiko Korn, of Legal Writing Works, provided insight on how our summer associates can hone their legal writing skills. And if that wasn’t enough, partners John Litchfield and Kim Klinsport presented more ‘Practical Tips for Having a Successful Summer’.
Summer Associates also enjoyed networking with Foley attorneys both virtually and in person, depending on the office location. Networking activities included lunches, coffee breaks, a virtual escape room, and small group receptions, among other activities.
With more programming and networking events on the horizon, we welcome our Summer Associates once more to the firm! We look forward to a successful summer program that supports our new colleagues in cultivating new skills, maximizing their performance, and building meaningful relationships with the attorneys and professional staff at the firm. It’s going to be a great summer!
