Foley & Lardner Chicago attorneys, Andrew Gross, Anna Choi and Erin Killeen, will participate in a virtual panel presentation and informal networking event with Georgetown University Law Center students on Tuesday, August 4, at 11:30 a.m. CT. Andrew is a senior counsel in our Intellectual Property Litigation practice group and graduated from Georgetown Law in 2009. He will be one of only three other panelists from three other large Chicago law firms. During the breakout session, Anna Choi (associate in our Transactions practice group) and Erin Killeen (associate in our Business Litigation & Dispute Resolutions practice group) will also be available to informally network and expand upon their experiences with a small, rotating group of law students. The event focuses on answering these questions about the Chicago legal market:
- What is unique about the Chicago legal market? What types of clients/industries do you typically see?
- What are the notable practice areas and practice groups represented in your Chicago office? Are there any practices that don’t really exist in Chicago? Have any practice areas been particularly affected by the pandemic?
- What are some ways that students can effectively distinguish themselves if they’re interested in working in Chicago?
As Foley’s second largest office, this will be a great opportunity for our Chicago-based attorneys to share their knowledge with a group of law students who are focused on the Chicago legal market before this year’s law student recruiting season gets underway.
