My Word: Equality and Inclusion Good Business

Foley Partner Jack Lord authored an article that was published in the Orlando Sentinel on December 8, 2011. In the article titled “My Word: Equality and inclusion good business,” Lord discusses the economic benefits for communities, local governments and businesses that offer inclusive domestic-partner benefits for same-sex couples. He says employers who offer domestic-partner benefits and other resources for LGBT employees create a positive image that can attract diverse talent to their companies. Lord adds that pro-LGBT policies can also be attractive to sought-after employers that may be considering relocating or expanding.
