Tyler Dever specializes in complex commercial litigation spanning intellectual property issues, including patent litigation and theft of trade secrets, as well as general commercial litigation, including breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duties. She also has extensive experience in employment-related issues, Title VII, and Title IX. Tyler served as second chair in the three-week federal bench trial Gordon v. Utah High School Athletic Association, et. al., where she advocated for female student-athletes. Tyler is based in the Salt Lake City office where she is a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group, the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group, and Labor & Employment Practice Group.
While in law school, Tyler served as a law clerk legal extern for Chief Judge Robert Shelby of the Federal District Court for the District of Utah and law clerk legal extern for former Justice Jill Parrish of the Utah Supreme Court before Justice Parrish was appointed to the Federal District Court for the District of Utah.
