In his first 100 days in office, President Biden moved quickly to reinvigorate federal energy and environmental laws, overturning 33 of his predecessor’s policies and finalizing 21 of his own. From rejoining the Paris climate agreement to the $2 billion American Jobs Plan – which proposes billions for the transition to electric vehicles and clean energy – the President has made the environment and climate change a central piece of his policy agenda.
So what’s in store for the next 100 days? In this webinar, members of Foley’s Environmental and Public Affairs groups will discuss the Administration’s near-term environmental policy goals, including:
- the American Jobs Plan
- the concept of “environmental justice”
- climate change initiatives
- regulation of emerging contaminants (e.g., PFAs)
- and other key federal efforts
