Foley Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, Chair of the firm’s Telemedicine Industry Team, and Foley Partner Monica Chmielewski, Vice Chair of the firm’s Health Care Industry Team, will present at the California Telehealth Network 2018 Summit in San Diego on May 16-18, 2018. Their presentation is titled, “Secrets to Building and Negotiating Telehealth Contracts.”
The 2018 Summit agenda includes a wide range of current and relevant topics such as: hands on experience with telemedicine equipment and peripheral devices; the latest in technology trends; federal and state policy updates; as well as mhealth, school based telehealth, and direct to consumer strategies. We will also take a dive into building and negotiating telehealth contracts from a legal perspective, finding and vetting the perfect telehealth provider, project ECHO for pain management and opioid addiction treatment, mapping and designing telehealth workflows, the power of data collection and analysis, patient and provider engagement techniques, recent developments in telehealth and EHR integration, and a spotlight on health plan engagement in telehealth.
