Gardere Partner Arthur Val Perkins will present "Regulatory Takings and Groundwater Regulation" at the upcoming University of Texas School of Law's 18th Annual Land Use Conference on March 27. The Land Use Conference offers high-level, detailed coverage of the key issues, strategies, challenges, tools and opportunities facing municipalities, counties and developers. Mr. Perkins will discuss the ability of the Edwards Aquifer Authority and other similar water districts to regulate the pumping of groundwater in light of recent court opinions.
