Michigan Lawyers Weekly Features Foley and Other Detroit Law Firms Commitment to Stand Against Racial Injustice
Detroit Office Managing Partner Phil Phillips was featured in the Michigan Lawyers Weekly article, “Trauma. Grief. Anger. Law firm leaders speak out against racial injustice.”
Foley’s Detroit office was part of a group of leading law firms in the city which issued a statement about racial injustice and voicing their commitment to promote equal justice, diversity and inclusion, and to work to eradicate racism and inequality.
Phillips told MLW, “At the heart of Foley & Lardner’s core values is its commitment to our people and to diversity and inclusion. We are unwavering in our stand against racism in whatever form — overt, systemic or otherwise. As part of this commitment, we are proud to stand with our Detroit peers to raise our collective voices, express our outrage, and combine our resources to help combat the racial injustices that our communities are facing.”
