This episode of The Path & The Practice features a conversation with special guest Ritu Bhasin. Ritu is a former law firm attorney and talent management professional, who founded her own DEI/Leadership consulting firm over a decade ago. In the episode, Ritu reflects on the many difficult experiences she encountered growing-up in Toronto, Canada, as the child of Punjabi immigrants. She reflects on her path to law school and her decision to eventually leave practice to found her firm. Additionally, Ritu provides insight on navigating implicit bias in the workplace, fitting in versus belonging, and authenticity. She also explores the importance of self-care, especially for those in underreprested groups.
