Anum Amin is an associate and litigation lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP based in the firm’s Los Angeles office where she is a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.
Prior to joining Foley, Anum was a litigation associate at a law firm in Los Angeles serving business entities worldwide. Anum managed the day-to-day caseload for several state and federal business litigation, product liability and financial services matters. She researched for and drafted pleadings and motions such as appellate briefs, motions in limine, motions for summary judgment, motions to compel, motions to dismiss, demurrers, motions to change venue and notices of removal. Anum also advocated on behalf of clients during court hearings including noticed hearings and hearings on ex parte applications.
Previously, Anum served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Harold E. Kahn in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco’s law and motion department. Anum clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in the Hardcore Gang Division and worked as a Justice Corp intern at the Family Law Facilitator’s Office in San Diego.
