Jesse L. Byam-Katzman
Senior Counsel
Jesse Byam-Katzman is a business litigator who advises and represents clients in a broad spectrum of complex commercial disputes, including supply-chain litigation, distribution and manufacturing agreement disputes, claims under the Uniform Commercial Code, software and licensing agreement disputes (particularly in the fintech context), and government investigations and enforcement actions. Jesse also advises manufacturers on product distribution and dealer network matters. Jesse takes a strategic and pragmatic approach to assessing, resolving, and litigating business disputes, which includes advising on proactive strategies to manage and mitigate risk before disputes arise.
Before pursuing a career in the legal industry, Jesse worked as a claims professional for Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies where he was responsible for implementing reserves and managing claim litigation.

Pro Bono
Jesse has devoted hundreds of hours to pro bono representation of indigent community members, representing incarcerated persons for claims relating to civil rights violations, refugees seeking asylum, tenants facing eviction, and local nonprofits in connection with nuisance and trespass claims.
