Foley proudly sponsors the OESA town hall meeting on April 6, 2009, to learn more about the new U.S. Department of the Treasury Auto Supplier Support Program.
The objective of the meeting will be to address questions and concerns regarding the Auto Supplier Support Program and to surface and discuss other needs within the supplier industry.
OESA and MEMA are currently working with Treasury, General Motors and Chrysler to understand more about the program, definitions, eligibility and administration. At the same time, OESA is exploring other avenues toward providing additional assistance to the supplier community.
Neil De Koker, president and CEO, OESA, will open the program by providing an overview of the Treasury program as currently defined. He will also share information on additional assistance OESA is pursuing on behalf of members.
Ann Wilson, senior vice president, government affairs, MEMA, will share insight into the workings of Treasury and next steps.
Tom Spillane, partner, Foley & Lardner LLP, will provide a discussion of legal implications for suppliers and participate in panel discussion and Q & A. Joining the panel will be Allen Campbell, CFO, Cooper-Standard Automotive, Inc., Doug Grimm, CEO, Citation Corp., Tom Kowieski, CFO, ADAC Automotive, and Scott Merlis, managing partner, Ducker Advisory.
