Foley & Lardner LLP recently co-hosted a webinar with the National Association of Corporate Directors to discuss how a new presidential administration and evolving state-driven regulations are effecting boardrooms.

Foley partner Judy Waltz, chair of Foley’s Health Care Practice Group, is speaking in the American Health Law Association Institute (AHLA) on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues in the session “Administrative Enforcement: Collateral Consequences of Compliance Failures” on March 27.

Delaware is feeling the pressure of backlash from resident corporations over recent decisions by the Delaware Court of Chancery in stockholder litigation, as well as from significant competition from other states, like Texas and Nevada, which are making material changes to their respective corporate laws to attract corporations looking for a friendlier new home state.
