Foley Partner Robert J. Heinrich presented “Protect Yourself: Negotiating a Credit Facility in Today’s Environment?” at the Association for Financial Professionals’ 2010 Annual Conference in San Antonio on November 10, 2010. Mr. Heinrich discussed tips for, and common traps faced by, corporate borrowers when negotiating credit facilities, including issues arising as a result of the Great Recession. He also outlined strategic approaches that corporate borrowers can take when negotiating credit facilities, including ways of addressing defaulting lenders and agents.
