Starting in 2014, employers who employ more than 50 full-time employees (and equivalents) during the prior calendar year will be required to offer affordable health plan coverage that provides minimum value to its full-time employees or pay potentially expensive excise taxes to the IRS. This one-hour presentation will lead you through the basic rules of determining whether you are subject to the law, how to determine who are your full-time employees, and how to ensure that your health plan coverage is both affordable and provides minimum value. Employers will need to make decisions and start administrative processes in 2013 in order to be ready for the new rules in 2014, so don’t delay!
