Our panel will discuss labeling requirements with respect to country of origin for food products packaged/processed in the United States with foreign origin ingredients, recent enforcement actions and liability for failure to properly handle imported food products, steps companies can take to protect supply chain integrity to avoid violations related to country of origin and U.S. Customs requirements, and the importance of establishing and maintaining robust internal compliance policies and procedures.
