Foley Senior Counsel Nathaniel (Nate) Lacktman will be a speaker at the Fall 2013 Conference of the Medical Equipment Suppliers Association (MESA), in Dallas, Texas on September 19, 2013. Mr. Lacktman’s presentation is titled “Everything You Wanted to Know About DME Competitive Bidding, But Were Afraid to Ask.”
With the implementation of Round 2 of the DME Competitive Bid Program, suppliers need a practical way to understand the new rules of the road. Mr. Lacktman will lead a series of three roundtable discussions limited to 12 participants per session, for a detailed discussion of Competitive Bid Program issues. Topics will include the following:
- The ins and outs of subcontracting under the competitive bid program
- The reality about “selling” and “purchasing” competitive bid contracts
- Adding or removing supplier locations under a competitive bid contract
- Novation agreements under the competitive bid program
- Q&A and other topics of interest
