NDI Executive Exchange – The New Normal: An Interactive Exchange About the Future of Governance
Foley’s NDI Executive Exchange, a national forum where prominent corporate governance leaders had an interactive peer exchange about the future of corporate governance was held in Chicago on November 13, 2013. Our in-person, invitation-only Executive Exchange connected C-level executives and board directors of public companies in a roundtable setting to share the issues that matter most to their business and candidly discuss real-world solutions for effective governance. Nell Minow, Co-Owner and Director of GMI Ratings, Inc. provided her views on the latest corporate governance trends; a panel of board chairmen and CEOs discussed what governance issues concern them the most; and 15 breakout sessions were held on some of the most topical and important governance issues in the boardroom and C-suite. Foley’s first ever Director of the Year Awards were awarded to Richard (Dick) Donnelly, Chairman of Oshkosh Corporation (Public Company Director of the Year) and Marie Meisenbach Graul, Pelican Products Audit Committee Chair (Private Company Director of the Year). Included below are the program materials and highlights.
