Trade Secrets Act & Defend Trade Secrets Act: 2015 Updates

Partner Paul Monsees participated in a webinar presentation about trade secrets with attorneys from Seyfarth Shaw, Buchanan Ingersoll and Sutherland. The program, hosted by The Knowledge Group, was titled “Trade Secrets Act & Defend Trade Secrets Act: 2015 Updates.” Mr. Monsees provided the attendees with practical trade secret guidance about how to identify trade secret assets, how to identify vulnerabilities to those assets, how to protect trade secrets, whether steps companies have taken to protect trade secrets would be considered sufficient to establish and maintain legal protection, business and legal issues companies should consider before filing suit and strategies to help minimize risk when hiring from a competitor.
