South Florida is experiencing undeniable momentum to develop a thriving tech hub and startup ecosystem. The partnership with WIT on this event allowed Foley to be part of the movement and introduce the firm as a resource for legal and business needs.
The Foley and WIT Miami event took place at Milk & Honey in Wynwood, home to local startups and creative industries. It was an event that featured cutting-edge headset technology from one of South Florida’s very own startups, Silent Revolution. The headsets allowed three simultaneous presentations for participants to dial into with no disruption or outside noise.
Participating from Foley Miami: Laura Ganoza, Rosana Gutierrez and Larry Perlman. Each Foley attorney was paired up with an entrepreneur to discuss real life scenarios and ways to scale up startups. The dynamic duos covered topics relating to IP protection, labor and employment matters, and corporate and funding opportunities.
