Water 2.0 Conference: Digital Transformation for the Water Industry

The Water 2.0 conference series is presented by the Water Innovations Alliance Foundation (WIAF), an organization that promotes the development of water technologies and innovations. The series focuses on the social and economic benefits of digitally-enabled water solutions and provides information regarding the use of software and big data in the repair of America’s water infrastructure.

This latest conference will focus on the use of data analytics, software, and cybersecurity for water utilities. Co-sponsors include GE, American Water, Duke Energy, Watercura, and the National Association of Water Companies. Participants will include water and energy industry authorities, utility professionals, and representatives from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Foley public affairs director Dennis Cardoza will present during the program on how drought, contamination, and the Endangered Species Act adversely impact water resources, but could provide for new business opportunities.
