Telehealth provider and technology companies, institutional health care providers, population health organizations, physician practices, insurance companies, schools, and employers payers are finding new and exciting ways to partner with one another to further their respective goals and objectives.
The panelists will discuss:
- How telehealth companies are collaborating with others within and outside of the health care industry in new and exciting ways to offer telehealth services
- How these partnerships are furthering the parties’ respective goals and objectives
- The business and legal issues that they face, and the strategies that they adopt for addressing them
- Other practical “lessons learned” and tips for the development and operation of an effective and successful telemedicine partnership
The Illinois Telehealth Law Forum Series will engage medical professionals in discussions of the most effective and legally sound approaches to advancing telehealth in Illinois. It provides an opportunity for telehealth stakeholders to engage with other like-minded organizations. The Series will also educated telehealth stakeholders on opportunities for collaboration to advance telehealth in Illinois. The Series is organized by the Illinois Telehealth Initiative. The Initiative is a project of the Partnership for a Connected Illinois (PCI), an Illinois 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation aimed at advancing telehealth in Illinois.
