The Telehealth Advisory Council was created by Florida’s Legislature and Governor, and consists of 15 members including the Secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration, who serves as the chair, and Florida’s Surgeon General and Secretary of Health. The Telehealth Advisory Council is charged to make recommendations intended to increase the use and accessibility of services provided via telehealth. Mr. Lacktman’s presentation was titled, “Telehealth Commercial Insurance Laws.”
