Hoang Quan Vu, a partner in Gardere’s banking and finance practice, will present on the “The Impact of the Texas Special Education Indicator – What’s Next?” panel at the upcoming American Leadership Forum meeting in Houston.
Several recent articles in the Houston Chronicle have exposed threshold benchmarks for students in Texas eligible to receive special education services, and change may be pending. This panel will discuss the broad ranging impact of this indicator through the lens of education, juvenile justice, mental health and responsive intervention.
