Foley Partner Monica Chmielewski, member of the firm’s Telemedicine Industry Team and co-chair of the firm’s Digital Health Group, will be a speaker at the California Telehealth Network 2017 Summit in Newport Beach, CA, June 5-7, 2017. Ms. Chmielewski will participate on a panel presentation titled, “Telehealth Policy Update 2017” The panel will discuss topics such as federal and state telehealth policy.
Ms. Chmielewski will be joined by an expert panel including:

The theme of the 2017 Summit, “Learn. Grow. Sustain. TOGETHER!” will focus on current telehealth applications, with California-based clinics and hospitals sharing secrets for building successful programs. The agenda will also include legislative updates, ROI for telehealth in an accountable care environment, Federal and foundation funding opportunities, and the future of healthcare under the new presidential administration. Attendees will explore innovative telehealth expansion work that’s underway with major California-based health plans as well as progress and results from the CPCA’s Alternative Payment pilot program.
