AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine Annual Conference
Foley Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, Chair of the firm’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team, will be a speaker at the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine Annual Conference on March 7-10, 2019 in Atlanta. His panel presentation is titled, “Implementation of Telemedicine in Nursing Homes: A Multidisciplinary Perspective,” and will take place on Thursday, March 7th from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m.
This half-day session will provide information and guiding resources to assist nursing facility clinicians to implement and utilize telemedicine by providing a number of tools and processes. The session will include multiple stakeholder perspectives (i.e., physician, advance practice provider, nursing, nursing home administrator, legal, industry, and non-profit) and use facilitated interactive roundtable discussions to enhance learning. Attendees will actively use a collection of tools and resources compiled as part of a Telehealth Program Manual for Nursing Facilities sponsored by West Health, which will be announced and distributed as part of this conference.
