Kelly Beglinger (nee Brandenburg) focuses her practice on identifying and protecting valuable intellectual property for her clients by preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign utility and design patent applications, assessing the patentability of new technologies, providing freedom-to-operate and invalidity opinions, and assisting with IP due diligence in merger and acquisition transactions. She has developed experience in design patent law and provides design patent counsel surrounding graphical user interfaces, household appliances, personal care products, and medical devices, among a variety of other technology areas. Kelly also has experience providing IP counsel in such areas as software applications, financial technology, fitness equipment, fire suppression systems, lavatory systems, filtration systems, consumer products, medical devices, and vehicle systems (including electric and hybrid vehicles), among others.
