Adam Cooper focuses his practice on health care law. Adam represents hospitals, health systems, and other ancillary health care providers such as durable medical equipment suppliers, pharmacies, home health and hospice agencies, laboratories, diagnostic testing facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care facilities in health care regulatory compliance, transactional, and litigation matters. His regulatory compliance matters include analysis of complex and federal regulatory issues, including Stark, Anti-Kickback and Civil Monetary Penalties, contracting, reimbursement, Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, overpayment audits and appeals, internal investigations, and investigations by federal and state governmental bodies. Adam’s transactional matters include advising clients on regulatory aspects of health care transactions, including compliance, corporate structuring, changes of ownership, diligence, enrollment, licensure, and reimbursement. He also has experience in litigation matters including government and private payer audits and disputes on behalf of providers and suppliers.
