Brandon Livengood focuses his practice on providing counsel to matters related to federal, state, and local government. He has represented government employees and agencies in a range of civil rights litigation. He has experience in managing an extensive litigation docket for Texas law enforcement clients in defensive matters, primarily including 28 U.S.C. § 1983 claims (1st, 4th, and 8th Amendment violations), RLUIPA claims, and civil rights matters generally, as well as state-based claims under the Texas Tort Claims Act. In addition, he has substantial experience practicing in Texas federal and state courts.
