Foley proudly announced the promotion of 23 exceptionally talented attorneys to the firm’s partnership on February 1. Our newest partners represent 13 of Foley’s offices nationwide and span all four of the firm’s key sectors — Energy, Health Care & Life Sciences, Innovative Technology, and Manufacturing.
This new class of partners recently participated in two days of programming designed to help orient them to their new role at the firm. The sessions covered nuts and bolts like the partnership agreement, partner compensation, and tax issues as well as the shifts in mindset, relationships, and how they spend their time as they continue to build their practices and develop in their careers at the firm.
As they begin this next chapter, we asked what making partner means to them, what contributions they hope to make in this new role, what program played a part in their professional success, and what advice they would give to associates.
