Foley Attorney Recognized By Nightingale’s For Health Care Transactions Work.
Foley announced today that Michael L. Blau, chair of the firm’s Health Care Venture Practice, was named one of the Nightingale’s Healthcare News Outstanding Health Care Transaction Lawyers of 2006.
Blau was among 12 winners named to the 2006 list, which was published in the November issue of Nightingale’s, a monthly newsletter for professionals serving the health care industry.
Blau’s practice focuses on advising clients on corporate and regulatory matters, including mergers, acquisitions and affiliations. He also forms provider groups, networks, alliances and joint ventures. In the last year, he has handled significant health care merger and acquisition transactions and multiple hospital-physician ambulatory surgical center, imaging and cancer center joint ventures. His addition to Foley in August 2006 was part of the firm’s strategic plan to grow its thriving health law practice, both nationally and in Boston.
