IP Attorneys Andrew Baum, Robert Weisbein, Karin Segall Join Firm’s New York Office.
Foley announced that Andrew Baum, Robert Weisbein and Karin Segall will join the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. By adding these three trademark attorneys to its Trademark, Copyright and Advertising practice, Foley continues building its full service IP practice, which for years has been known as one of the leaders in the intellectual property area.
“The addition of Andrew, Robert and Karin is consistent with Foley’s strategic plan to reinforce the firm’s resources and reputation in trademark and copyright counseling and litigation, as well as enhance our presence in New York,” said Sharon R. Barner, chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. “These three additions, combined with other significant IP laterals over the past few years, have bolstered Foley’s ability to offer the full scope of legal services in counterfeiting, piracy, internet and wireless content. We believe we are now one of the few firms with broad spectrum coverage in the IP area.”
Andrew Baum joins as a partner in the Trademark, Copyright & Advertising Practice and the IP Litigation Practice with an emphasis on trademark, unfair competition, counseling and licensing. Baum joins Foley from Darby & Darby P.C., where he was managing principal from 1996 to 2007.
