Thimke Quoted on Brownfields Study Group

Foley Partner Mark Thimke was quoted in an article titled “Environmental unknowns hinder redevelopment in Wisconsin” in the April 7, 2009 issue of the Daily Reporter. Thimke speaks on a Wisconsin Brownfields Study Group initiative that would require companies to conduct site testing and share environmental information on their property before discontinuing business. He notes that the idea of requiring companies to share information before closing cuts remediation and study costs when the time comes to redevelop the vacant property.
