Foley Attorneys Featured for Work with the Boy Scouts
Attorneys from the Foley Tampa office were featured in the October 29, 2010 issue of the Tampa Bay Business Journal for their support of the Boy Scouts Dodgeball Tournament. Foley attorneys teamed up to sponsor and participate in the 2nd Annual Corporate Dodgeball Tournament, helping raise more than $6,000 for the Gulf Ridge Council Boy Scouts of America and the Learning for Life Program.
Learning for Life offers programs designed to support schools and community-based organizations in their efforts to prepare youth to successfully handle the complexities of contemporary society and enhance their self-confidence, motivation, and self-esteem. The program focuses on character development and career education, helping youth develop social and life skills and formulate positive values.
Nathaniel M. Lacktman, an associate and member of Foley’s Health Care Industry Team, is a member of the tournament planning committee and captain of Foley’s team. Rounding out the team are partners Christopher L. Griffin and Steven W. Vazquez, and associates Adam R. Alaee and Marcela Lozano.
“We are very glad to see this tournament back for a second year,” said Lacktman. “Not only does it support Tampa’s youth programs, it offers a fun team-building event for the businesses that participate. It is great to see our community contribute to organizations, such as the Boy Scouts, that help young kids achieve their full potential.”
