Partner Marc Dorfman was quoted in an article that appeared in Bloomberg BNA’s Securities Regulation & Law Reporter on January 28, 2013 titled “High Court Cases Could Spell Big Changes in 2013 Securities Litigation.” Dorfman discussed the potential impacts of SEC v. Gabelli, stating that a decision against the SEC may result in a temporary dislocation. He predicted that the court will decide in the defendants’ favor, but added that the SEC has a resourceful staff capable of adapting to potential upcoming changes.
