Steve Good Discussed Federal Spending Cuts with The Dallas Morning News
27 February 2013
Gardere Managing Partner Steve Good, chairman of the Dallas Regional Chamber's economic policy committee, discussed federal spending cuts with The Dallas Morning News. "The main concern is what the impact will be on jobs and economic growth," Mr. Good said. "Where we would have continued to improve and reduce unemployment, this will slow it down."
Neither Mr. Good nor local economists said they expected the spending cuts to create a crisis in Texas, but that they could dampen the state economy. They added that Texas would probably suffer less than other states whose economies aren't as strong or as diverse.
