- Requiring vendors to comply with our non-discrimination policy
- Benefits for domestic partners and transgender employees
- Retirement benefits for same-sex partners
- Comprehensive health care coverage for transgender employees
- Providing pro bono work specific to LGBTQ-related issues
- Sponsoring several LGBTQ organizations
- LGBTQA Affinity Group
“Foley is deeply committed to encouraging and cultivating a diverse and inclusive firm culture. We believe that such an environment not only strengthens our firm, but also benefits our clients, as we can provide a broader spectrum of experience and viewpoints. We are proud to be among the organizations represented in the 2017 HRC CEI rankings, and will continue to make strides towards inclusion and champion equal opportunity in the LGBTQ community,” said Foley Chief Diversity Partner Eileen Ridley.
The firm ranked among 517 U.S. businesses that also earned top marks this year. The 2017 CEI rated 1,043 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. Foley’s satisfaction of all CEI criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
